Reading Your Situation

The platform asks you a short set of questions about your money and your circumstances. Your answers set the most risk your plan is allowed to take. This module shows you what each question is actually asking, and which of your answers decides when the two disagree.

By the end of this module, you’ll be able to:

  • Tell apart what a loss would do to your life and how you might react to it.
  • Assess your situation using income stability, emergency savings, dependants and the cost of a fall.
  • State the largest fall you believe you could hold through without selling.
  • Explain each holding’s purpose in one sentence.
  • Explain why the more cautious of your two readings sets your highest band.
